Every LoveLife wedding is performed under U.S. law, with a government-issued marriage license, an authorized officiant, and two witnesses. Afterward, you receive a legal, certified marriage certificate issued by the court.
WHAT MAKES IT LEGAL
An online wedding with LoveLife meets the same legal standards as a ceremony held in person. The only difference is that you say “I do” over video.

Issued by Utah County, Utah, before your ceremony. You apply online, 24/7, from anywhere in the world, with no need to live in or travel to Utah.

Your LoveLife officiant is authorized to perform marriages and is located in the jurisdiction that issued your license.

You both say “I do” live on a video call, seen and heard by your officiant and witnesses.

Two adult witnesses join the call. Bring your own, or we’ll provide them for you.
After your ceremony, your officiant submits your signed license to Utah County. You receive a digital copy of your certified marriage certificate by email immediately, and a physical certified copy is mailed to you from the courts in Utah County within 3 business days.
WHERE IT'S RECOGNIZED
Your marriage is legally performed in the United States and is recognized in all 50 states, the same as any other U.S. marriage.
Many countries recognize marriages legally performed abroad, but requirements vary. Some ask for an apostille to certify your marriage certificate. Please confirm with the authorities where you’ll use it before you book.
